Derwent - Inktense Pencils, 24 Tin

Derwent Inktense Pencil Sets are the ideal way to being exploring the unique Inktense formulation. The colours in each set have been carefully chosen to cover the breadth of the Inktense colour spectrum, no matter which set you choose. The core of Derwent Inktense Pencils is pigment-based and extremely soluble in water, but unlike watercolour pencils, when you add water the core transforms to product an ink wash.

Once the wash dries, it is permanent and cannot be rewetted. Highly pigmented with rich, vibrant colours in the range, you can easily create beautiful layers of colour with Derwent Inktense Pencils. The colour can be applied dry and water added to the applied layers.

Simply adjust the amount of water to producing varying dark to light tones. The round shape of the pencil barrel ensures a smooth experience and the 4mm core ensures smooth and even colour application. Ideal for artists, designers, illustrators, crafters and hobbyists.

The fabric does not need to be pre-treated, simply apply the colour directly to the fabric, dissolve the pigment with water and allow to dry.

Once dry, the colour will become permanent if all the colour has been fully dissolved/washed out and there are no pencil marks left on the fabric. The fabric should be hand washed, without detergent, at a cool temperature.
